Born in Portugal in 1995, Pedro “Um Pinhão” Santos draws from both urban culture and natural landscapes. He believes painting doesn’t begin in a studio — it begins outdoors, where the environment becomes both canvas and collaborator.
Um Pinhão’s murals channel an energy between the divine and the playful. Whether working on wild terrain or within structured environments, his pieces persistently reflect a balancing act: scale and detail, ritual and spontaneity, order and chaos.
As a resident of the CO-OP studio collective, Um Pinhão has engaged in collaborative productions, clothing-brand intersections and large-scale murals that operate at the boundary of art and design. His practice extends beyond the wall, infusing everyday objects with symbolic impact.
