Tokyo & Jamaica
Everyone has been waiting in line alongside a queue of robots that captured the hopes and dreams of a dance in the near future. Now, the wait is over. In collaboration with Co-Op studio & Cais do Gas, À Luz Do Dia introduces Dance Into Daylight. This narrative-driven piece takes the viewer on a shared journey through a period of depression, into a stage of hope and finally reaching the beacon of joy - the dance we have all been waiting for. This time, the visual journey is from light to dark to light again, as it should be. Capturing the essence of nightclub culture, we take the viewer from daylight to dusk to sunrise - sending them home with disco beams on their brain.
