Narso

ORIGINS & FOUNDATIONS

Born in Portugal and raised on creative ambition, Bernardo “NARSO” Fernandes discovered sculpture and 3D design early on. He graduated in 2018 from University of Greenwich’s Dartford campus with advanced training in digital modelling and production techniques. Returning to Portugal, he established his base at the CO-OP creative studio and began forging a distinctive practice at the intersection of art and technology.

HANDCRAFT MEETS MACHINE

“NARSO’s guiding principle:Sculptural work these days should combine technologies with handcraft.” He creates stylised characters, creatures and immersive environments—merging traditional sculptural elements with algorithmic tools, layered materials and 3D-printing automation, probing how identity and form evolve in the tech-driven era.

PROJECTS & COLLABORATIONS

NARSO’s innovative approach has led to a series of collaborations with artists and institutions exploring the boundaries of digital fabrication and physical form. Through exhibitions such asCRIATURAS,FIELD TRIP, andWOKEN DREAMS, he merges fine-art sensibility with industrial precision — proving that craftsmanship and technology can coexist not as opposites, but as extensions of one another.
